Mario Cruz was absolutely the consummate professional. He was on time, explained what he was going to do and what materials he had with him to install, and told me approximately how long it was going to take. At the conclusion of the installation, he explained every detail regarding the operation of the garage doors. He cleaned up after. He represents himself and Sears well.

You scheduled , then called and didn't know what it was about! Then didn't show up on the appointed day/time. I had to make about 4 calls to get service. Really!!! We have dealt with Sears for many years and have multiple accounts with you , including service policies.

The serviceman voiced uninvited political commentary in support of Donald Trump. I found this distasteful and inappropriate. He is entitled to his views but overstepped the boundaries of his role by expressing them to me during the time he spent in my garage. That said, I should note that he did the garage door installation competently

Sears provides better service for the purchase of custom garage doors vs Home Depot. Home Depot makes it mandatory for the consumer to measure and then make the purchase. Prior to placing an order then a technician will come to measure to verify the information provided was accurate.

We purchased three garage door openers. One of the three was not properly programmed to open both of our doors. Sears has not returned my phone call request for a tech to come out and reset this remote.

a part was damaged from factory and needs to be repkaced. I explained I bought item at store. he said to call customer service. he should have provided me a # to call customer service. because 3 days later I still don't know where to call. then he dropped some old screws on floor. tells me to sweep them when he should have picked them himself leaving the work area clean like I has it. he should have at that moment called in for me the part that was damaged.

The person that gave us the estimate (Eric) needs additional training with garage doors. He was nice enough but he did not have the knowledge to do this. In turn, Mr. Martel had to deal with his estimate and what it would actually take to fix the door. Eventually, it was worked out and the door was serviced satisfactorily. The garage door sounds like it is trying to open. This is especially unnerving and unsettling when I am at home alone, especially during the middle of the night because I'm not sure if someone is tampering with it or trying to break in. This is a recurring problem that ANY of the technicians that have been sent out are unable to resolve. I was told it was the type of equipment that was causing interference due to the frequency. I changed out the old equipment to Sears model and I'm still having the same problem with the exception that the garage door is not actually opening up...it just sounds like it.
