Lewis did a fine job. He explained to me what all he did. Lew also recommended what I could do yearly to maintain my garage door function, such as lubricating the main spring and rollers. I appreciate him sharing his expertise!

The technician installed new hardware - rollers, springs to garage door.
For a short while, the door was really easy to open and close. NOW, it is impossible to Open. There is a hard shift to one side. I have to manually shift the door to one side, then I have to forceably lift to free the door.
I can't understand why this is happening.

I really think that bill was way to much.I had I stalled new door springs with the help of a friend but tube door didn't. want to open .that's why I called sears so the man that came to my house spent about 15 minutes working all that be did was remove the new springs saying they were the wrong springs and put the old springs back on that's all he did .

I have always respected the quality and range of Sears services, and this experience was icing on the cake. Dale carefully explained every stage to me and then provided information we would need when we decide to replace the springs. I will definitely want to have him back when we take that next step.

Mike did a great job, in freezing temperatures, did the spring conversion, replaced all the rollers and lubed the system in about 2 hours, very satisfied.

Lewis did a great job and not only met my expectations but blew them away. His attention to detail was impressive. He reolaced the springs on my two car garage door and he went out of his way to adjust the tension on my second single car garage door to make it open better. He also recommended replacement of the rollers on my main garage door as they were getting pretty worn out and making some noise. He was very friendly and personable. Was willing to explain what he was doing so we could learn something too. I would recommend Lewis Nagy if you are in his area here in Apollo Beach/Riverview. Thanks again!

Our garage door broke 3 days before Christmas, trapping my car inside. We contacted our home warranty, and within 24 hours, Sears called with an appointment time for the next day! I was so impressed! I thought, for sure, with the holidays, we would have to wait. When the technician showed up, he was so friendly. Unfortunately, the repair was not covered under our warranty, but he was able to help us get a good deal on a new spring and still make the repairs that day before he left. He also gave us great advice on how to keep the spring lubricated so it would not break again. I felt like he really went above and beyond to provide great service. Since moving into this new house in August, we have used Sears for several things now, and have been very pleased with the service. It's nice to see that in an age when so many companies just put customer service on the back burner in order to meet their bottom line, Sears still really cares and makes their customers feel important. Thanks for taking care of us this Christmas!

The springs you installed were smaller than the original springs and are only guaranteed for three
years. Off course they may last much longer than the three year period but if they don't I shall be dis-
appointed.

The technician also noticed we didn't have the right springs and was going to replace those for me; however, whoever had installed the previous one caused some complications and he was unable to do it. He said he would put that information in the computer so that if we wanted Sears to do the work, it would already be noted.

I just wanted it on record that the springs I had installed were to be rated 25,000. cycles. I called Keith and that is what he told me. The springs installed were much smaller than the ones taken down. He quoted me a $79 cost to replace should the springs fail. The technician was very professional.

I seriously doubt that the spring that was replaced had a value over $30 dollars and the lifetime warranty to replace the springs if they ever break again for a modest fee of $127 dollars is what it should cost anyway and not the $300 I had to pay for the 15 minutes of work it took. I doubt that the worker got even half that money.
